Why Choose a Griffin™ Radiator?

For a quarter of a century, Griffin™ Radiators have been the first name in high-end, high-performance, high-cooling capacity and high quality aluminum radiators. Griffin™ radiators are widely used in racing cars, hot rods, and road-rally vehicles. Generally, these are cars with high horsepower engines that generate a lot of heat - and thus benefit from the extra cooling capacity of the Griffin™ radiator. However, Griffin™ also offers their high performance radiators for ordinary street vehicles as well as big trucks, industrial machinery and aerial and marine craft .

One of the secrets of the Griffin™ radiator is the larger tubes found inside the radiator core. Unlike most commercial and OE radiators, the tubes of a Griffin™ radiator measure 1.25 and 1.5 inches, allowing a substantially higher rate of coolant circulation. In addition, Griffin™ radiators are built to withstand greater coolant pressure. In fact, some Griffin™ radiators include a high-capacity water pump that forces coolant through the system at a higher rate (perhaps even higher than an OE radiator).

One of the best things about Griffin™ radiators is the fact that they are an American company, using good, honest American labor, paying their employees a fair wage and benefits for making their OE radiator quality radiators. Unlike many large corporations that off-shore labor and import inferior components from abroad, Griffin™ radiator does all their manufacturing right at their plant in South Carolina. Unlike most manufacturers nowadays, Griffin™ does not attempt to cut corners by using cheap epoxy sealants - a Griffin™ radiator is of all-aluminum construction.

If you own an older, a classic, or even an antique auto, Griffin™ radiator can also build a custom radiator especially for your needs and specifications, surpassing your expectations of what even an OE radiator can provide. All tubes, cooling fins, headers, side bands, mounting brackets and tanks are made right there in their own U.S. facility - not China, India or Mexico - so you can be assured of the highest craftsmanship and finest U.S. quality. However, chances are very good that you won't need Griffin™ to build a custom radiator just for your vehicle. In fact, take a look in the Griffin™ radiator catalog and you'll find a choice for virtually every water-cooled domestic car from the 1923 Ford Model T to the latest GM models - and virtually everything in between. You can even get a Griffin™ radiator for vehicles no longer made, such as the De Soto, the Packard and the Studebaker.

We here at Old Air Products are proud to be your source for these fine raiators. In addition to the radiator line we carry the complete lin of SPAL™electric fans to match your choice of radiator.

For a U.S. manufactured radiator of this quality - whether for racing or street - you might expect to pay a premium price. You'd be wrong. Although we can't quote you a price here, the fact is that Griffin™ radiator prices are very competitive - and when you order yours through Radiator.com, you'll always get a great deal on your Griffin™ radiator.
