1969-74 Chevrolet Nova with Factory Air for Passenger Side Compressor
Custom HS2 system engineered for 1969-74 Chevrolet Novas originally equipped with Factory Air. Designed for an easy, straightforward installation, the unit mounts to the firewall using the original factory mounting holes. A new electronic slide control installs into the stock dash opening and operates electric servo motors, providing smooth, infinitely variable control of defrost and heater valve functions.
Heater and A/C fittings route through the kick panel and blower motor block-off plates into the engine compartment. The HS2 features a removable blower motor for easier installation and service. Kit includes flexible plastic duct hose, Adapters for Factory Louvers, and a new ABS plastic glove box.
This package also includes a Drier, Drier Mounting Kit, Pressure Safety Swtich, Compressor, Compressor Mounting Brackets, and a custom SuperKool Condenser Assembly for Passenger-side mounted compressors, complete with mounting brackets, and pre-formed aluminum lines that route cleanly through the core support. A plain-finish compressor is included, with polished or chrome upgrades available. A reduced-barrier A/C hose and fitting kit is supplied and requires hose crimping to complete the installation.
