Custom HS2 system engineered for 1969 Chevrolet Camaros originally equipped with factory air conditioning. Designed for an easy, straightforward installation, the unit mounts to the firewall using the original factory mounting holes. A new electronic slide control installs into the stock dash opening and operates electric servo motors, providing smooth, infinitely variable control of defrost and heater valve functions.
Heater and A/C fittings route through the kick panel and blower motor block-off plates into the engine compartment. The HS2 features a removable blower motor for easier installation and service. Kit includes flexible plastic duct hose, adapters for use with factory A/C dash louvers, and a new ABS plastic glove box.
This package also includes a custom condenser assembly for passenger-side mounted compressors, complete with mounting brackets, receiver drier, and pre-formed aluminum lines that route cleanly through the core support. A plain-finish compressor is included, with polished or chrome upgrades available. A reduced-barrier A/C hose and fitting kit is supplied and requires hose crimping to complete the installation.
